“40-Day Prayer Walk to Jerusalem”

During the 2022 Lenten Season, the FAME family will undertake a “40-Day Prayer Walk to Jerusalem.” This spiritual growth initiative will feature prayer, biblical teaching on spiritual disciplines, a weekly virtual tour guide on the way to Jerusalem and group walks.

† Biblical Teaching on Spiritual Disciplines

  • Thursday Bible Study- Participants will learn and practice spiritual disciplines.

† Walk to Jerusalem

  • The Walk to Jerusalem is an imaginary walk that encourages members to increase physical activity, spiritual growth and cultural awareness through a virtual tour to Jerusalem.
  • Total distance is 5,938 miles.
  • Participants will track their miles or steps and add them to the church-wide total, with the goal of walking from Manassas, Virginia to the Holy Land by Resurrection Sunday. Log your miles or steps using this link: https://forms.gle/4qwfn5ckoanTdh377.
